Well you could always have two repair bases and a third point in the middle or multiple points which in some way boosted the repair stats.

Something to defend/attack/fight over would be nice. I'm missing depth in fights, a "reason" to assume team command, play tactically and something emphasizing how this is in a fact "a thinking man's shooter", which in its current state i dont so much think it is.

Considering the timeline we are playing within and the canon we are referencing, I've got to say no.

adding "Mech-Repair Microwaves" would go entirely against lore, immersion, and the idea of the sim. I know it happens in some games, but the overall setting in Battletech is very important to the experience.

I'm still fine with the "dropship" mode, where you queue up 4 or so of your mechs, and play them sequentially. That would lead to the longer fights some people are craving, but still match up with available technology.
