Okay, so currently the game converges your weapons on the point you are looking at, automatically adjusting this convergence depending on the distance of your focal point.

While useful this can cause problems with the game attempting to converge in things REALLY close to you, light a light post, causing your ppcs to fly wildly up and out instead of in front of you.

This problem is also very noticeable on mechs that use both arms for main weapons. Say you wish to lead a target 400 meters away running across the horizon in front of you, well you look where they will be and your range finder says infinite distance, you fire at the right time and half or all your weapons miss because the convergence was WAY off.

Now the entirely optional solution that saves to each mech individually. We should be able to set out weapon convergence to manual then use the page up / page down keys (or whatever) to move the convergence closers or further by 50 or 100 meters.

As a side note, I also think each mech should be able to lock either arm, neither arm, or both arms. Not just all mechs, all arms locked or unlocked.

More options only makes the game better for advanced players.

Low priority, but probably not super hard to put into the game, you would just write a function that feeds a specific value into the already existing convergence system base on the players input instead of the distance of the focal point.

I actually really like this idea. It could be very rewarding to advanced players without being OP and hurting new players. I would definitely make use of the selective arm lock for my Mech

why not make it that the weapons converge at the distance where your current target is...
