Suggestion: Different Projectile Speeds For Gauss, Ppc, Erppc

Hi,

At the present time one of the imbalances of the game is due to grouping weapons with Gauss, PPC and ERPPC altogether. Since the projectile speed is 2000 for each of these (EDIT: The Gauss is apparently already 1200 ... my mistake) ... all the weapons converge on the same point at the same time.

If the projectile speeds for the PPCs were different it would make using these weapons together in a single strike more challenging ... particularly against moving targets. It would also reduce the pinpoint accuracy against moving targets since the projectiles might not hit the same segment since they arrive at different times.

Something like the following might work:
Gauss 1200 (as current - edit)
ERPPC 2000
PPC 1600

It should be an easy change to make that would make boating combinations of these weapons more challenging while not changing the individual weapon balance significantly.

Ooops ... my mistake ;) ... I had thought they were the same but that was based on a faulty memory apparently.

In any case, I would still consider differentiating the PPC and ERPPC.

Good idea, but it won't fix much. PPC boating is just as frustrating as Gauss/PPC boating.

Make them like the MW2 balls of lightning.

Would be funny watching all the blue orbs slowly making their way to either side of the map. ;)



Seriously tho, I'm all for reducing the projectile speeds.

Basically the slower the projectile moves, the harder it is to hit a long range target.....that is not standing still ofc.
