There is a defender bonus inrev, but you have to kill someone that was on the cap within 5-10s similar to savior kills.

And of course...

OH LOOK IT'S THIS THREAD AGAIN!!!

Well damn, I guess the fact that I usually get murdered when buying time running around in that stupid square explains why I never get to see it. :)

Because I like to see the people who want TDM to squirm and rage. So does PGI.

So now what are you all going to do?

The capturing mechanics all lead to stupid end game scenarios. The common one is the light mech and the heavy mech are both left standing. The game is insta-win for the light mech yet we have to play out the remaining capture point countdown while the heavy mech chases the light around the map like benny hill.

Normally I enjoy capture objectives in my team games. MWO is not one of them.

I like the current mechanic, but some minor adjustments such as those you suggest would probably enhance the overall experience.

I forgot to add:

MWO: There's a big structure in the way to prevent you from shooting cappers giving them an easy cap.
WoT: No such baloney like this exists...

I have a 6 million C-bill mod I bought solely for the purpose of cap rushing. PGI sold it to me. Think I'll put it in my commando, and go on a capmando crusade!

I would actually pay money for a mech vs mech game.

Alas, the only one on the market is MW:LL

This, the bases in WoT are the most open dangerous areas to be in. MWO they are the safest places on the map. Leading to the only way to oust the capper being to run around the thingy like some Ring around the Rosie wargame. It's bloody silly and feels stupid every time you have to do it.
