Weren't there some USB conversion on that controller?
you might actually get that working on MWO, which would be...to say the least -Epic.

xbox to usb cable, custom drivers, custom control lib's and remaper - fairly easy but joystick itself is overpriced, starting with ~250$ for used in somehow adequate condition and ~400$ for new one - that is not to mention costs of shipping and adapters+ time needed for actually making all of this work. also i'm pretty sure it have lousy precision by default and needs to be upgraded to new hall sensors+recalibrations. its easier to use modules from flight systems like cougar, x45-52 etc - cheaper too.

I will wait to see the pricing on them. I have to admit, the look of the Hawken setup is a lot more attractive than I initially thought -- but then again, the MWO controller looks like it might have more functionality outside the game (screen aside).

If the price of either one is too high, I'll just stick with my Nostromo & Naga -- they've done alright by me so far.

Actually, that may be why I like the Artemis -- it's like a tiny Nostromo slapped onto a joystick.
