come on guys, it has been a few months now. I played 3 games this mornign and all 3 times it froze.

This is wrecking teh game for ALL, as when one persons game fr3eses it makes the game unfair for all. no longer equal teams.

This has spill down effects on ranking and other things...

please advise.

I think your going to have to put more information about "freezing."

Is it your entire computer? Is it the mech won't move? Can you still press escape to goto menu?

Remember, there can be a lot of different issues associated with games that freeze. It would also help to give comparisons on how other games with similar graphics do not have these problems.

fair enough... it happenes in game, . and the screen jsut freses in place, .. all movment typing, everything just freses, it is only the game, I can crtl-alt-del back to desktop and close it (though it takes a very long time to do this for some reason)

I have no problem at all with BF3, EVE BF2, COD4 or any other game.

it happens even at times when there is no explosions or anything like that .. maybe 25 % of the time it happens in teh first 20 seconds of the match.

I have a core 2 duo , not sure what speed, but one of the faster one, wiht more cache, ut still 3+ years old, but newer video ati6970 4gig sys ram, and 2 on the ati.

Tried quility settings, as well as windowVS full screen.

nothing helps, . getting 50% crash rate this morning.

Mine does it but mainly in Frozen City with the snow effect. Its a graphical issue with ATI cards from what I can fathom. I had put down to me using the Crossfire workaround that I posted to run both my cards.
Your lucky, when mine does it it then dumps to black screen and usually locks the computer requiring a restart.

Give the repair tool a run through and download the latest Beta drivers from AMD for your card. Might help a combination of the two.
