if everyone sucked during it.

First time playing in a few weeks, trying to get back into things. Five matches in a row, I ran into the same guy (that ALONE speaks wonders about player numbers). Let's call him FF. During that time, he probably entered a good eight matches. At the beginning of every single match, he disconnected. I know he's just too incompetent to actually play for the experience and that's irritating since it means one team is always a player short since there's no punishment for disconnecting that often, but overall, it's not too bad (thankfully, for once, my luck held out and it wasn't always my team one player short).

But then, player A in one match decided, 12 enemy mechs isn't enough to shoot at. Let's start picking apart my own team's Atlas! That's a winning strategy! The Atlas assumed it was a mistake at first and went on his way. Then it continued and the Atlas got a little pissed off and Alpha striked player A. Player A scampered off, tail between his legs and the Atlas continued on... until player A came back. It took six alpha strikes before that ***** (wow, really? ***** is censored?) finally got the message and ran off... only to die almost immediately after he ran into the enemy.

The same thing happens in the next match, with player H. Halfway through the match, decides to unload half a dozen shots into the back of the nearest friendly Jenner and it continues whenever he sees a teammate in a good position, going up to sniping a Spider trying to capture Kappa in Canyon Network. I tell him to stop being a {Richard Cameron} and get this response from another player, known only as player DURR. "Don't be an **********. New players need time to learn." Am I missing out on a game where you're encouraged to deliberately shoot teammates? Sounds fun, where do I sign up?

Why the hell is there no in-game report button? You'd have at least thought we'd have that for launch? What DO we have? Right, automatically starting the game in 3PV. Wonderful.

Report the player to support. They win investigate and possibility ban the player.

This player should be reported immediately. Give in game name, time, map, and mechs and send the information to PGI.

These players should also be reported per above. Why are you bringing these up there anyways?

Not sure if it will be in UI 2.0. However, you can still report the players by sending a ticket to support. But one of the reasons another MMO gave for not include in-game reporting is be of too many false reports when they did have it.

If you are really high on the elo scale or really low you will more often see the same people in your drops.

I would, but it was a long time between. By the time I came here and found out to contact support (I was sure I was just missing a simple in-game way to report them), a lot of the information had slipped out of my head. I'm pretty sure they'd need screenshots too, but MWO does not want to play nice with me when it comes to that. All of my screenshots, no matter what, are nothing but solid black. I've searched, but haven't found anything useful to fix that. :/

That's no good reason. The least they could do is punish players for spamming false reports.

I think I'm middling, but not sure how to calculate that, to be honest.

Please send your sightings on player misbehavior, that might be a code of conduct violation to support@mwomercs.com
Please include the following information (if available):
- Name of the player
- Map played
- Date, time and timezone
- type of violation
- other players involved (witnesses)
- screenshots
- links to video or websites that might prove to be usefull

The game now has an ingame screenshot function. If you tried to make screenshots with the Print Screen key, you will find them in your game folder in USER/screenshots.

As this thread is discussing exploits and/or griefing I'll close it as such a thread is prohibited by the code of conduct as well.
