Bring back the LRM splash but keep the current tracking. Voila. More diverse loadouts and less PPCtarding.

Well, to be fair, I am a huge supporter of buffing LRMs but I do think it's unfair that the splash will bias the CT no matter where it hits, making the victim unable to spread the damage. That's kinda cheap.
So I say just give the missiles far better base damage for now and call it a day.*
* The base damage should be high enough to render them just about as dangerous as what you're talking about, though.

Remove LRM and SRM splash, bump damage up considerably, both sets of missiles fixed. Easy.

How is there any difference between someone LRMing from behind cover using the new flight mechanics or ppc/gauss pop tarting. Both lead to terribly stagnant game play. Now with the addition of seismic sensor, the lrm boats can even see when someone sneaks behind them.

Just put them back to right before they tried to add splash

Lrms are as they should be. They are useful when boating but not overpowered.
You have to work to get kills with lrms now just like other weapons. That is why you hate them now.

Because the LRM guy has to stare at his target to maintain lock? Because you still need an angle or else the missiles will slam into an obstacle? Because no LRM boat is going to be able to do much of anything to you if they notice your blip behind them at 400m?

LRMs seem like they're in a good place now - maybe a small nudge in the more base damage direction, or adjust splash and leave the base alone.
LRM kills on the battlefield are far more common now and current LRM fire pushes poptarts and other LRM boats out of their hinding spots - so they're working as is without being absurdly overpowered.
Returning to old damage with the improved higher flight paths would be more stupidly overpowered than before - all that did was drive players out of the game. I quit for almost two month when LRM rain was the norm.

LRM splash was impacting the CT too much. I would say PGI needs to start buffing the damage in slow amounts each patch, keep them how they are now as far as splash.
