FF
Endo
Stnd 280

ERPPC - right arm
Gauss Rifle + 3 tons ammo - right torso
2 Medium Lasers - one in each side torso
2 Srm4's + 2 tons ammo - left arm
412 armor
10 DHS

Great for any application. Long range, Medium range, and short range brawling, this mech does it all. With a 1.17 heat efficiency to boot

Heat efficiency is terrible. Can be remedied a bit by switching ERPPC with normal PPC at the cost of some brawling power. Of course, if you're brawling with a Gauss Rifle, you're doing it wrong.

you can fire repeated shots with combined ERPPC and gauss around 9-10 times without overheating its not that bad

I have learned that you can't always trust the heat efficency rating in the Mechlab. Some times it doesn't tell the whole story, so it is just better to try the setup in the field first.

Even so, The nice thing about the Gauss is no heat. If you run a bit hot, switch to the Gauss and let the mech cool before going to the ERPPC again.

Overall, seems like a descent build.

2PPC
gauss
2streaks
xl300

much more optimal considering SRMs suck right now

you get to snipe, and herd away the lights when they get close

seeing as yes, srms do suck, you could swap them for 2 streak2's and upgrade the Mls to Medium pulse lasers for more effective brawling power

Never run an XL engine and a torso mounted gauss in a CTF. It dies really fast.
