Most important part is that very specific challenges need to have longer lifespan, or even permanent, depending on how rare. Basically similar to Steam achievements. Not some 3 days, to account for those players who don't play very often (like myself).

I'd love to have weekly challenges, such as 'player who gets most number of assists in a given week gets x MC or CB, and anyone who has 50 or more assist also gets a bonus prize'.
Or something like that. Basically, it encourages people to play.

Challenges are a way for everyone to participate in an event and have fun with it. Of course we need more! Quite different than those tournaments - after spending hours a few tourneys and being unable to score better than 18th top light kind of killed the motivation to participate in more.

"Achievements" are set to drop before release. They may work something like this challenge.

As long as there's no CW, and even after that, anything that gives motivation to play is gracefully welcome.
Without opt-in, like Steam achievements.
