This mech looks pretty cool and I might buy if the price is right but I have been patiently waiting and hording MC waiting for a good Hero Atlas. The sooner I spend the MC I still have from my Founders Package the sooner I might buy more. How about one that isn't based on a female's mech? Nothing against women but the "Ricky Bobby" paint scheme of the "Pretty Baby" and the pink/purple paint scheme of the Heavy Metal aren’t really my cup of tea. Also, I don't really want to drive anything called "Pretty Baby" either. How about one based on MechCommander 2's Colonel Renard? An Atlas with jump jets? Yeah, I'd drop $50.00 worth of MCs on that thing :(

I second Evinthal, the chassis to make proper use of ballistics either needs to go awfully slow with small STDs or risk with XL engines to mantain a decent speed.. and a XL with those big side torsoes is a death sentence. For the same weight I prefer the risk of being headshotted and go around with my K2. The only mildly interesting variant is the JM6-A, but I gladly skipped the exp way only to keep that.

This firebrand looks awesome in its texture, but it's basically a JM6-S with one set of energy hardpoints shifted from the side torsoes. The advantage of having those dual energy in the arms makes it certainly more interesting then the A, but yet it will cost 4875 MCs. So it's a no go for me (I didn't even bought neither Misery nor HM and these are chassis I like many times more than a Jager..).

Exactly this. I have horrible luck with side torso destruction on Jaggers no matter how much I try and shield them. HSR is a pain at times for it too as I am twisted on my screen but maybe not on theirs so the server rewinds that and places some hits where they shouldn't go, at least on my screen. Ah well. Better that the hits are registering than not. :)

Can't wait for this mech to be released.

Jagers are THE easiest kill on the battlefield. In fact, if it takes me more than 2 alphas I reprimand myself.

It's gonna suck hard for all the fools that spend real money on this thing; prepare for forum QQ.

WTH... so it's a K2, but better.... in essentially every way except torso twist?

I'm somewhat intrigued by the possibility of having 2x ppcs and 2x gauss in the arms (or at least 2x ppcs and 2x autocannons) but other than that, meh.

Behold, the DevastJager.

I'm anti jump jets because of the screen shaking but a jump capable atlas? OH yeah! And there are two hero mechs I'm waiting on. Atlas and Hunchback. Granted this is an IIC HBK but its what I want to see in a Hero HBK Posted Image
