The launcher causes my GPU to run hot spinning up the fan louder than while in game. I tried forcing VSync through Nvidia Control Panel. This didn't seem to help much if at all. It's kinda annoying to have my fan going so crazy when I'm idle. Does anyone know a work-around of any sort?

what gpu and what cpu? i almost want to say that ur cpu is limiting your gpu usage in game so it actually runs at a higher load in the front-end launcher.

It's my understanding that multiple people deal with this issue, but I haven't seen anyone post a real fix. The only suggestion I've seen is VSync which isn't working for me. The launcher is just burning up my gpu for whatever reason. Poor code, I imagine, but anyone who has dealt with this and come up with a solution please speak up. I would be eternally grateful.

sys_MaxFps = 60

Add the above line to your user.cfg file. Change it to 120 if it will go that high and see how it works
