Still got mine as well + Phoenix time plus special days. I think that's about 7 months and 4 days total.

Like everyone else saving it for CW.

As Tekadept above says It may well be required to play as a Merc Corp (I hope not) it was also hinted that it "MIGHT" generate a small amount of MC with CW, but I am not going to hold my breath on that one.

For anyone who may not know you can buy small amounts of Premium with MC which activates immediately and does not affect your Banked time (you need to hit the activate button) so if you have week of holidays or a long weekend you can make good use of a few days here and there. If they ever run another double XP or MC weekend it would be really beneficial.

Really? I've wondered that actually. So if I buy premium time it will run off without activating my banked time?

Silly how you can't activate it in smaller chunks

THIS!

I would gladly use my premium time in 1 week chunks if I could, but knowing I have MONTHS of premium time is scary. Unless I find myself unemployed for a couple months, I just know that the vast majority of that premium time is going to waste.

I could've dedicated a month to make the most of my Founders time.

I could've dedicated a month to make the most of my Overlord time.

But forcing me to now use both back to back all in one go is a bit much. I could cram MWO for a month every night after work to really milk the premium benefits. But knowing I'll have to play hard for multiple months or else I lose the value of this "benefit" makes me not want to activate it.

It's similar to the P-Wing effect from Mario 3. You always have P-wings leftover at the end of the game because they're so rare and valuable that you're afraid to use them. So you eventually get through the whole game and never end up using it and have a couple sitting around going to waste. If you allowed us to use our time in smaller chunks, we don't have to go "all or nothing" with this huge chunk of time we paid for.

PGI: Please consider having the "Activate" button give us our premium time 1 week at a time. Once that week is over, we can just hit it again and repeat this until our time is consumed. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE do this for your loyal founders!

Edit: If anyone is interested, I made a thread requesting this addition here. Make your voices heard.

I activated my founders time a while back. I felt compelled to play even though I didn't really want to at the time. Now I should have about 122 days. There's no bloody way that I will be able to use that effectively. I would love to see it changed.

Still have my premium time and will not activate it until I see a campaign.

The development process seems horribly slow sadly.

Wake me up when they put the Mech Bays on sale. I'll probably spend half of mine on those alone.

I've got probably 7 months or so sitting around, with the Founders and Overlord packages and other little redeems like the valentine freebie.

Personally, I'm waiting for PGI to take a long break from their heavy-handed money-coveting business plan and fix the in-game economy to a state that is actually rewarding. If the game was at a point where I could gain 80k on a bad game and 200k with a good one (without premium time), then sure, but seeing as bad games generally net about 50k and 125k for good ones, it's not worth the money I spent for those boosted days.

I have 3 days left.

Had been holding onto it for CW but after the "launch" and seeing the 7-8 straight F grades, except for 1 C and 1 B (which coincidentally was from the same publication that partnered with PGI for the first promo) decided I'd feel even more ripped off if I didn't use it up while I still could. So I hit activate, CW and the clans and the jihad are vaporware.

I used mine after the c-bill nerf because I couldn't earn enough without it to buy new Mechs. But I'm saving my Overlord time for CW because I now have plenty of Mechs to work on for a while.

I think they over-nerfed c-bills just a bit. It was a struggle to earn sufficient c-bills to buy and customize Mechs even with a premium account. Without it, I can buy OR customize... barely... but not both.

To me, a premium account should allow you to buy and customize mechs easily. If you're paying for premium, you should have a sufficient flow of c-bills to derp around with experimental builds without having to play for days just to afford the customizations.

Ideally I think that non-premium c-bill earnings need to be tweaked upwards about 20%. I think that would balance both premium and non-premium reasonably well. But if PGI feels that the non-premium economy is correctly balanced (which I do not, but whatever), then perhaps the premium bonus needs to be boosted from 50% to 75-100% so that PGI's paying customers are better rewarded for supporting the game.

If they doubled the rewards on premium I'd think about activating it. With the payouts so low AND the ever present rumors that premium might be needed to found a merc corp, I'm hangning on to all of my 182 days.

In case anyone is interested, I've created a thread asking PGI to let us consume our premium time in smaller chunks, rather than all at once. I don't expect PGI to give it any attention, but if enough people voice their thoughts on the thread, it might be enough to get what we all want.

I still have my founders premium time, and all the single days that have been tacked onto it.

I start to wonder if it will ever be worth activating.

Yes, exactly. They put the kibosh on general chat a while back. Saying they were making "improvements".

I've got a few weeks left of my Founders time, but I'll be holding onto my 90 days from Project Phoenix until the game is more dynamic (UI 2.0, CW, More Modes, etc...)

As the topic says. I just want to know how many Founders out there are like me and are waiting for CW before hitting "activate".

I did up until PP hit, because I reasoned that I could store up another whole bunch of Founders' time... but TBH near the end of my Founder's time I lost heart again and stopped playing again.
