I have been playing a fair bit since the last patch and I've noticed that since then the level of maturity in the community (in game... these forums have always been a cesspit!
) has taken a nose dive and let's face it... we weren't exactly the pinnacle of civility to start with. In the last couple days I have heard the expression fa.gg.ot more than I have since I started the game.Frankly, all of a sudden, it's starting to feel like Xbox Live. There is a reason why I only play on Live with friends!
Did something happen? Was MWO recently promoted in a source that would bring in a crowd?
I would say PGI should probably be pro-active... LRM/*** for example has basically become part of the vernacular.
EDIT: I do find it ironic that the forums are almost draconian in their censorship, but in game, racism/sexisim/stupidism are allowed to run rampant.
