I also am concerned about the requirements to run the game.
Here are my specs:

OS Version: Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium
System RAM: 6141 MB
CPU Name: AMD Athlon™ II X4 645 Processor
CPU Speeds: 3100
Physical CPUs: 1
Virtual CPUs: 4
Video Card Description: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
VRAM: 1024 MB

I am loading up Windows 7 Today on a spare 500 gig hard drive i have 2 spare 500 hard drive I could raid it but will most likely not.

Hoping this will run it at 1440*900 resolution but not sure at all. Before I commit to buying founder pack which I want to do I will need to make sure it going to run it good for me the upgrade fund is dry just upgraded the Video card and processor, now the operating system and wireless router and adapter upgrade also was running the 54g stuff.

You should have absolutely no problems running it at 1440*900 with high or very high settings.

They are probably getting people with insane rigs that run Crysis and BF3 at 60-100 FPS at max/high to test the game, makes sense if you ask me.

I really want the system requirments to be revalved soon and hopefully before they release the Elite/Veteran Founder's Packages. People tell me to check the crysis 2 specs as they are on the same engine but I would rather have the offical specs before I make any judgement at all. My specs are

CPU: Intel Quad 9450 2.7ghz
Video: Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 1gb ddr3
RAM: 2GB (Very low for today I know)
Windows 7

Your going to need to make additions to that to run the game at an acceptable level.
Another 2GB of Ram
And something like an AMD 7770/7750 Graphics card.

Neither of which is bank breaking.
