Mine doesn't seem to be working, as my mouse sensitivity is much higher than I'm used to, and it doesn't change when I adjust it in the file.

I'm sure you know this by now, but for the mouse sensitivity, there is now an option for that in the options menu.

And that option overrides your setting in the user.cfg.

Damn, this is no good, as I was using an extremely low sensitivity for my joystick configuration to emulate the mouse. The lowest, .1 is still way too high. I really hope they still allow us to edit the sensitivity by a user, cfg parameter, or add in much more customisation in the options.

[Redacted] HOWEVER, I recommend just using the ingame options to set mouse sens/etc and just strip that completely from your user.cfg file.

Thanks for that info Panda, ill take a look in that file, unfortunately for my current joystick setup I require an extremely low sensitivity for the mouse (my joystick emulates mouse movements), so using the in game sensitivity slider is not an option as the lowest you can go is 0.1, and I require something more like 0.005.

Edit: thanks, works as intended for extremely low sensitivities.

As of 5/21 patch a mouse sensitivity slider was added to the menu>options so mouse sensitivity is no longer handled in cfg. I'm curious though, doesn't the emulator you're using have not only sensitivity adjustments, but independent x/y adjustments? (y axis is needs to be lowered a few notches in relation to x axis...)

Please note that the manipulation of the games .xml files is prohibited by the rules.

Not the mouse emulator no, it has no sensitivity adjustments, my stick profiler does, but the mouse emulator seems to take raw stick values, not those from the profiler.

The horror! O_O Not sure which one of these you are using, but try the *other one in that case. Sensitivity is a primary function and should be high on the list of an emulator for this purpose. If you are going to use an emulator, I would try to get it all worked out in that and leave the stick's software alone, unless you don't have to manually pull up the profile for that as well. Much nicer to only need one application of software like this if for nothing else it's less start-up procedure.

I haven't spent any time playing with those ones, but bookmarked them owing to having the capacity to use absolute outputs. Not having sensitivity control is a deal breaker though.

In the meantime, have you looked at your mouse sensitivity slider setting in the MWO client menu>options? That is where mouse sensitivity needs to be taken care of now, not the .cfg file...

Honestly, the current one I am using is probably the best. It's a compromise between features (sensitivity adjustment), tracking quality, and bugginess. Tracking quality won out. And there really are only about 3-4 stick to mouse emulators out there with absolute tracking. The alternative is to either use an inferior tracking method, or remove the absolute tracking completely, which I don't want as that pretty much means not using the stick at all.

To be frank, I only use the stick maybe 20% of the time, as I am more competitive with the mouse throttle pedals combo, but occasionally I feel like having a more immersive experience, so ill whip out the stick.
