I don't think there's any games that actually do this, and if any did, logically they should design the client to simply cache the data after the first time it's downloaded and rendered on the client.
Do you have a link to the information regarding Dungeon Defenders previously sending graphical data to the clients?
I'll groogrle for it anyway, to read up on it, and I'll post here if I find anything informative.
