Why not making mechbays available by renting (say 25.000 CB a day each, as many as a player wants)?
I know they're available by MC purchase (and that's good) but I believe there are many people that first would take the option of renting, then occupying those mechbays with personalised mechs, and as soon as one sees its income dropping (because of multiple rentals) then the player would be led to buy those mechbays with MCs as a mean of avoiding having to sell their mechs.
