I seriously hope that they delay the flea again, and again, and again. We really don't need any more useless (light) mechs. There is only so much you can do with so little tonnage, regardless of the configuration of hardpoints.

When is the next mech scheduled to come out, btw? WHICH Tuesday?

i agree, flea is not a very good choice for next light mech. why not bring in the Panther? people already love the sh*t outta those ppcs anyway on lights lol

Panther would be a tough one to be effective in because it's so slow stock that it's max engine would still be pretty small and it would be seriously handicapped in mobility, even with jump jets.

(Think: slower than the non-3L Ravens. Yeah, that slow.)

Panther is not a compatible mech with MW:O.

The mechlab makes it a gimmick mech that would see literally no use whatsoever.

Aquire Mad Cat. I am looking ahead.

If the Orion or Victor are any good, maybe. I would have bought the Zeus however. I just expect the Orion to be a Cataphract and the Victor's dome head will make it an easy hit from any angle, which transfers into the CT.

How are you even getting the money for this? Its so painful to grind I can only stand it for brief periods...

You have to break the pain barrier, and hope Horrid Henry keeps the kids happy, premium helps bundles as well

I will get the Orion oneday, but Victor is my next target.

I don't think the flea will be useless at all, though i'd rather have a Panther,Javelin, or Firestarter as the next light, practical or not.

I think those 4 lights mentioned are the only practical I.S. choices, for this time period, and the flea will arrive sooner or later.

Also, it really doesn't help that they stubbornly refuse to make the lightest weapon any good (MG, flamer, slas, splas).

Gonna sell these Trashjacks to make mechbay space for the Orion

One of my favorite mechs

Basically since both the Orion and Victor will be able to reach 80kph

I will be running max speed XL variants of each

Thank you. After googling it, I now have something to listen to as I grind away. It should help numb the pain.

Until they get more weapons in the game and buff up Small and Medium Pulse and standard lasers, we really shouldn't be getting more Light Mech's. If they want to go for something in the light weight category, give us the Adder, aka Puma. At 35 tons, FF Armor, Double Heat Sinks, an XL 210 engine and an Endo Steel chassis, it's one of the great support Mech's in the franchise in terms of it's firepower and mobility. In terms of the lore, it was introduced in 3010 so it should be the right time to see it introduced to be honest. While it's not as fast as the Raven at 35 tonnes, it's considerably more powerful.

The Orion is an old school Inner Sphere Mech, never my favorite in the past games, if they make the variants good then I will probably get one, same goes for the Victor. Right now I want another 100 tonne Mech, or maybe a 95. The Orion is one of the heaviest in it's class, but it's loadout will depend on whether it's good.

The Adder is a Clan mech. We are not there yet.

You'll have to wait for the Clans to arrive. When they do, there will be 3 or 4 Clan mechs appearing at once... if I remember correctly.

And there are so many great well known Clan mechs appearing that any four will probably be an instant purchase for most. The Timber wolf, Mad Dog, Nova, Ryoken, Loki, Thor, Executioner, Daishi, the list goes on.

I'm treating this game as any other MMO and plonking down $15 worth of MC every month but not buying premium time. By the times the Clans come I can then satisfy my urge to buy them immediately without burning a hole in my wallet at one go.

I hope so, there are some pretty sweet Mech's that I want to pilot again. Really looking forward to Mech's like the Cauldron Born, Shadowcat, Ryoken, Blackhawk and of course my personal favorite Beamer Mech, the Nova Cat :)

I wonder if the Fafnir will ever come along, though those didn't come about until the end of the FedCom war.

Likely variants for Orion:

ON1-K - 2525 (shown in mwo artwork)
ON1-M - 3049
ON1-V - 2799
ON1-VA - 2901
ON1-V-DC - 2913

^The V and V-DC are hardpoint/weapon placement similar, except the DC has a Command Console. All the other variants have unique lay-outs. So either the DC or V will be added. My guess is the DC, to reduce redundancy, and introduce another Command Console capable mech.
