1st. Thank you for sharing your hard work with us.
2nd . Wonderful work and great looking texture.
3rd. Any chance you can share the texture with us. Perhaps the PSD so that we can tinker with decals paints etc.

Thanks

What happened to the really nice highly detailed texture, it looks reduced to 512x512!

Pepakura designer (non hires version) does not allow for textures higher than 1024x1024.

If you want to bypass it, then you need to split your model say into two parts, upper and lower. Then you can map the upper to one texture and the lower to another texture. When you import your model into pepakura then you have 2x1024 textures :)

That,

Or you will need the high res version of pepakura designer.

There was request for version without black lines. Here it is.

Blaar: PSD file has about 160 MB. It would take me quite a while to upload. Maybe sometime in the future.

I applaud all of you people's patience.

How long does it take to build one of those things?

First part is done:

Be patient, this little bird will take it´s time. The parts are very detailed and not easy to build.

@Valcrow
For these part which i now have built it took me around two hours (with beer drinking  )
That includes the scoring (for this i try to make all scores from behind), the colouring of the edges and then the glue together.

For the atlas from parman01 i think it was around 40 - 80 hours. (HAHA i didn´t count it) I´m not the fastest and i only build if i´m in the mood for.

I also build the Sulaco and on that beast i build now a loooooong time. (But if it is finished once in the future it is around 1,75 m long)

Hello Dopenudist

On your pictures I can see that you are making a Raven which looks like it have a pretty hi res textures. I have downloaded what is available somewhere in this thread and the textures there aren`t so good looking:( How did you achievied that?

Someone mentioned Pepakura Hi res version. Is it like that that PDO file contains hires textures but it only depends on where it is opened, or maybye the textures are already scaled down in this model ?

Please advise:)

Szufla
