http://www.heavygear.com/ New mech game been developed and needs support. Im supporting it just like I did with MechWarrior.

The kickstarter is far too optimistic for a team that has backed out of every project they've been involved in. Especially considering they did it without having a game to show potential backers.

They've said the game will not be made if it doesn't fund, and it is not going to come close.

Makes me sad, as I love HG and have for many years.

Well, for guys who known only for making MekTech packs and community patches for Mechwarrior 4, picking so different setting from Battletech is not really a good idea. 90% of people who know them love huge, heavy armored mechs with firepower to turn small city to ashes, so concept of small and mobile mechs on wheels using swords and over-sized automatic pistols is hell of a gamble.

This is the breaking point. If we want to see more mech games become available in the future and no repeats of Front mission 3 evolved *****. Then we have to support it. This is the trend of mech combat games and we don't have many good ones.

This is an old topic, but I wanted to say that I've backed this game now, and I think everyone should take a look at their site and see the exciting features they plan to add to this game. Help them get the ball rolling so they can develop something awesome!
