Dear PGI,

You have a wonderful game and I love spending money and time on it just about daily. The one benefit to playing so much is I see little problems that are really big ones. This one is the sound and weapon hit problem. When getting hit a few times at once or shooting and getting hit, I will often not hear certain weapons "strike" my armor.

I played in a LRM Cat yesterday and recieved a guass shot from a Highlander and a PPC shot from what I think to be a Cataphract. Anyway, the guass made its sound but the PPC did not. How could I know this. Due to the annoying blinking times on your armor, I saw the LT show its damage before my CT. I did not see where the guass hit but the PPC did hit my CT due to the flash I received in the cockpit.

The Highlander shot at me again with the guass and killed my by CT destruction right after I looked at my damage meter. When the kill screen came up, it showed, "Death by Guass, PPC, Guass, Engine Destruction."

I know lots of other people are having this problem and it is one that needs to be fix. I have even taken one shot from something and no noise was made, just the blinking mech body.

Please post your situations so if PGI looks at this thread, the know where to look for problems.
Thank you and have a nice day!

I'm very certain this is because of HSR. Because where your client thinks your enemy is shooting at doesn't match with what his client thinks he is shooting at. Though his client looks like a hit, it could look like a miss to you.

I do wish to see, even if the actual projectile doesn't hit on your client, that there was some sort of feedback other than the red mark that you got hit hard, both by sound and knock.

When I saw the title of this thread I was expecting something about machine guns. More than 4 firing at once causes clipping.
