Is there a comprehensive list of Chassis quirks anywhere in the forums or online? Or am I really going to have to dig through the patch notes?

Very good question.

What exactly do you mean by quirks?

Quirks can include>
1) Rotation angles - every different variant of a mech can have a different up/down, side to side look angle
2) Arm deflection angles - every different variant of a mech can have different side/side and up/down arm deflection
3) rates of rotation - every different chassis can swing faster or slower than others
4) acceleration rates - every different chassis can as I understand it accelerate slightly faster/slower on top of engine size.
5) maximum engine size
6) Missile bay doors - some mechs like the catapult have missile bay doors that provide an armour bonus when closed, but add a firing delay to the launchers there. Other mechs like the atlas do not have doors.
7) I'm sure there are others.

That's good and includes the max deflection angles and max engines, but as far as I can tell it doesn't include things like missile bay doors, nor acceleration bonuses/penalties, nor twist/arm movement rates. It's half complete at best :/

edit> Here's a thread example http://mwomercs.com/...nturion-quirks/

Here they are discussing the quirks to speed/acceleration/turn rate that the various members of the centurion family received in the early february patch.

I think they are planning to include most of this in UI 2.0 - at least going by posts like this one> http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__2381397

That at least shows visually the angles and angular rates - still not the acceleration rate nor missile door type quirks though.

edit> Acceleration is in the above post to that one.

Can you point where on those pages it mentions the missile doors on the catapults?

Search for Catapult in the latter link. It's all there with other mechs that have them as well (Stalker+Cent).

In smurfy the missile bay doors are designated on the "Mech and Weapon Stats" page as square window shaped icons in the arm/torso columns with the hardpoint descriptions. The only mechs that have missile bay doors are the Centurions, Catapults, and Stalkers.

I stand corrected - I hadn't noticed the little clover/missile bay door logos before.
