Bug: Teammates With Ecm Only Show Up On Minimap When You Are Facing Them

Can this be fixed so that teammates with ECM always show up on your minimap, not just when you're facing them? It's kind of annoying. ECM is smart enough to not block friendies (this was actually just fixed in a recent patch), but for some reason it still doesn't work properly on the minimap.

To Reproduce: Have a teammate with ECM. Look at him on your screen. Look down at the minimap and observe that he shows up on it. Now turn away from him and watch his icon on the minimap disappear. This is broken. The only time a teammate should disappear from the minimap is if they are within range of an enemy ECM mech.

This is not specific to ECM AFAIK. This happens though and for the most part there is no real rhyme or reason for the behavior.
