Sorry if any of this was already mentioned sometime in the past, i'm fairly new here.
Id like to view myself as someone who knows a little bit more then the average person when it comes to the cry engine having been developing on it since they released the mod tools for Crysis and there are a few things I would love to see eventually make it to MWO.

First and foremost is Occulus Rift support. I think I speak for the community as a whole when I say that this will make this game ALLOT more exciting. Imagine looking out your side window and seeing an Atlas just standing there "I get chills thinking about it". But anyway as an outside point of view, it shouldn't be too difficult being that already you can partially look around the cockpit, I think maybe add a little more detail to the sides so you can look a bit farther back and you will have an extremely exciting feature that could possibly lure allot of Occulus Rift owners to play this game.

Im not completely sure of Piranha's financials or whether or not this is something that is even possible in the minds of the developers or MWO but, I would honestly like to see a controller product be released that resembles somewhat a mech cockpit control panel. I vaguely remember a Xbox game that came out a couple years ago that was bundled with a mech control panel, and it was really great. Something like that possibly would have to be relied on a 3rd party to be developed and manufactured but with the popularity of Mech Warrior, i'm sure its something that would sell.

Scrap the random server idea, one of the GREATEST things about being a PC gamer is the ability to choose what I want to do with my friends online. I feel that the random server connection thing is great for console players but ultimately limits us PC gamers. To be able to make a room with your map selected and game type and choose which side you want to be on would make this game allot more fun for clans and people who want to fight agenst each other. I have played a game called SDGO recently and I think in that game they got it EXACTLY how an online game should handle their server lists.

Adding quests. This would add more purpose to the game, adding quests that could either give you mech rentals that expire, weapons, points and such encourages people to try new things and to become more aggressive on the battlefield. For example, if I have a quest that wants me to kill 2 Jagermech's in one match, im gonna try focusing just on them and in that notion I become more active because maybe there aren't 2 Jagermech's in one match or maybe I don't complete the quest, That is going to make me want to play the game more.

More user friendly friends list, group and in game chat UI. I feel in some way that this game discourages having gain friends and teamwork when you are solo playing. making a smoother less boxy user interface would encourage in game socialization. Possibly even add a global chat in the main section of when you log in so that you can talk to other people who are also playing MWO.

A map editor. One of the main complaints I see with this game so far is the lack of maps. "BUT for a BETA its really not half bad". This would allow for unlimited maps! I could use Crysis as a perfect example for how players could dynamically download custom maps before they connect to the server in game, also something like Farcry 2's UI for example would make EASY map modeling. I know it could be done with the Cryengine but I couldn't expect something like this easy to make so I guess we could shelf this idea for a looong time.

Incentive to share. I know allot of games that reward people for making YouTube videos, reviews, blogs, Facebook posts, etc that in some way either advertises or informs people about their game. I think some sort of thing should happen here to help expand MWO while awarding some sweet prizes and MC to the most deserving dedicated fans.

Cosmetic changes to the mech upgrades. Changing the way you mech looks helps encourages people to spend money... LOTS of money... Imagine a light mech with an Atlas head =D this is just the few quirky things that would make this game more diverse and content driven, feeling,

Custom team symbols. Now im sure if APB and COD:BO2 could do it, why not MWO. I am speaking of course about the 2D symbol creator that consists of different shapes that could be assembled to look like whatever it is you are trying to make.

Trophies... Purely for bragging rights, but people seem to really like them in console games so why not MWO.

Bullet and shell dipping, right now in MWO it feels like im firing something that isn't effected by gravity at all.

Artillery parts, I actually would have never thought of this if it weren't for a friend who asked me if it were in the game. I am sure people can get creative with how it should be handled but Artillery would encourage people to keep moving, unlike missles you shouldn't need to lock on. Maybe something that tells you how far the shells will go and you just make educated guesses. Something like this should be constant trial and error.

LASTLY, a more diverse paint selector. I know how paint works in MWO because I used a similar technique on another game I helped a friend make, basically it colorizes the texture. There should be no reason why I cant select a certain hue instead of pre-decided colors, being able to adjust the specularity of the color and the ambient color would make for some really wild pant jobs.

Also on a side note,, Cmon allow custom forum avatars, every game I know in the universe allows custom avatars. Let people be themselves.
