In short: if I am taking a huge engine and I happen to have extra tonnage that I intend to use for heat sinks, is it better to ignore the internal heatsink slots in favor of placing them throughout my mech, on the theory that they will soak up hits that would otherwise take out my weapon systems and maybe give me a bit more leeway when I'm getting pounded?
Or does it generally work out better to put as many heat sinks into my engine as possible so that even if I do lose a few weapons, I can fire the remainder with peak heat efficiency?
Also, LOOOOOOOOOL .

380 is the real maximum engine. Pretend there's nothing higher.

internal sinks take up no addition slots. If you are using singles, this may not be a big deal, but with Doubles it adds up fast. The XL400 that I put in my PB holds 6 internals. That's 18 slots I didn't use in the rest of my mech and guess what, I STILL ran out of slots before I ran out of tons.
