[At Least Three Bears]

I was wondering in my infinite wisdom combined with my great looks, a perfect smile and a dashing hair cut : does leaving the game for a certain period of time influence the matchmaking system (or elo wizardry).
I realized lately that i don't see anymore poptarts, ppc are no longer the thing on every mech and i can shoot people and they don't move or even acknowledge my presence.
Or was there something in the patch note that i missed, certainly 1 more second cool down on ppc wasn't the cause of that?

Not that i complain, i like brawling all over the place and and send helpful AC20 in people general direction. But this mystery is so deep, so intricate that we might need the help of the Hardly Boys or even Moses.
