And that jump jets enforce a major accuracy penalty on mechs is a base level concept of BATTLETECH as well.
Good point Ragnar.
And that you don't shoot your weapons till after you land is a base level concept in BattleTech as well. If i jumped from behind a Lvl 3 Hill and fired, my weapons would impact the hill Cause that is how the jump Mechanics of BattleTech worked.

Solution: Take Motion Sickness pills, or don't jump.

Anyone who is actually suffering from Simulation Sickness should push their monitor further back and turn the lights on. Also, occasionally looking out the window toward the horizon will help prevent any onset of nausea.

Another thing you can try is getting some chewing gum. I've read that this helps some people with motion sickness by counteracting the discrepancy between being stationary and seeing movement.

Ultimately though, time does help you acclimate your body. Just keep at it.

Or do what I did, find something else to play.

1st person shooters usually bother me, but mechwarrior online hasn't bothered me as much as normal. I think its due to the HUD and reticule shaking more than the screen. If you look past the HUD and reticule while jumping its really not all that bad. Still I won't complain if they reduce the shake just a tad. They can keep the inaccurate firing.
