I'm not certain if this has been discussed before, but does anyone know how many maps there will be initially? One of the largest issues we had back in tabletop BT was that there were about 8 maps available from the game company. So aside from the one map we've seen in the game demo, how many other maps are they going to have at launch? Varied map types (cities, desert, arctic blizzard, night fighting)? Just curious how many places I'll be taking a dirtnap

Cityscape is pretty much a given. PC Gamer had some pics of a temperate map with small settlements and shanty towns dotting it.

Ice and desert I think have been confirmed.

Much thanks for the info. I hope the maps are kept fresh, because having a limited number of locations for PvP gets predictable very quickly.

Personally I am much more concerned with size and the way the geography is laid out over enviromentals. It is fun to have various places to fight but I would always choose less maps that were well balanced over more that were not.
