wrong, there is a +3 penalty to your to-hit roll if you jumped that turn

Only slightly harder than at a full run, which was about the state of things before this change.

I think they over did it again.

Maybe they could stand to dial the shake down but I think it should still be there.

Shake? Rotfl you mean that gentle jiggle?

If you guys are having trouble pop tarting I'm happy to keep the role all to myself. Between this change and the longer Ppc recharge I can no longer perform my 12 ppcs in 6 seconds stutter step, and I do have to expose myself a bit more but i have other defensive maneuvers, the shake doesn't stop me from visually acquiring targets, and I just shoot after ending my burn. The 2 post patch matches I played with a pop tart I took 1st place for my team, which is consistent with my usual per patch results.

Of course...the "highly-skilled" true pop-tarters aren't the least bit fazed by this patch. Their awesomeness still reigns on the battlefield. And, let's not forget that they are still #1 on the damage list, which is the *only* reason to play. We all know it's nothing about working together in a team effort, but to simply dish out the largest amount of damage, point to your e-peen...errr, the scoreboard, and thump your chest in triumph.

Teamwork is critical. Having players on your team that are death machines is handy too however.

I love how folks who have limited personal skill like to fall back on the teamwork argument as a way to validate their own vale compared to better players as if being skilled and being teamwork oriented are mutually exclusive qualities.

I never tried to brag about my skills as a damage dealer or pilot though... :) ...or how I topped the charts at #1...

Now tell me how that is being part of a team instead of trying to do what's best for the group?

This simply proves a few posts I've made that this change doesn't stop Poptarting PPC'ers they will just shoot once they release JJ and stop the shake.

Only brawlers and light mechs take the nerf hard.
