Mech stats are available for those you run but not those you face. Now to implement this it would take some thought but I for one would like to know why I can drop a certain chassis faster than a different one.

I'm going to leave the thoughts on how to implement this to the community. what are your thoughts?

This info has a weak context. Some mech builds are better than others at destroying a certain type of opponent... (at least with the current set of stats that isn't entirely useful).

It would be more interesting to have a feature that showed the last 50 battles or so giving you match history.

What about A K/D ratio of any mech you have either destroyed or been destroyed bye that has done 50% to your chassis or received 50% damage from that chassis. I'm really not sure how this data could be collected, that is why I'm asking for Idea's.

Personally I would like to know What Mechs give me the most trouble as I could then target them first. Guess I'm just a Stat *****.

I'm not entirely sure if collecting those stats are entirely usefuI... in terms of trying to analyze it.

It's kinda like baseball. Stats are great for a lot of things, but they don't necessarily tell you everything you need to know about a player. It needs more context... like videos or builds or how you are being engaged (aka, we need to be able to playback matches - unfortunately I think that's slated for next year...)

Although, expanding data "mining" would be good, but you would need a good method (or something) to be able to make use of it.

And a damage paperdoll. Sometimes you lose 0v8 and all mechs are heavily damaged, but you never know about this at the end. Well, if you knew about it, it could indicate problem with team play/focus fire, and not bad elo matching.

I know exactly what you mean it's like the tackle stat in football. Who cares how many tackles you made? I care about how many times you held them on 3rd down!

There is nothing wrong with haveing as many stats as possible (As long as they are orginized in a way that can be handled. The data interpretation is up to you the player.

For instance, I have a 47% hit ratio with srms. Is that good? If it is should I use them on more loadouts? Is Artemis worth it when it boosted my hit ratio from 41%? Actually that may be a bad example as I have no clue what the ratio of matches played with Artemis is. Which makes all that data worthless now. But that is another thread.

Yes, a saved paperdoll of each match organized bye your chassis with a log file of all damage done and at what range.. Even if this was dumped onto my system (should be an checkbox option) as this data for all matches for all players would probably be too heavy a burden on the servers. But that's a dev decision anyway.

ACTUALLY now that we're discussing it I think LOG files would be the perfect solution.

Until we get real stats (not sure if it's going to happen any time soon), my idea was to show an online paper doll status of damage taken (if mech is alive) of both friendly and enemy mechs (do not save anywhere, keep servers happy - just show at the end of match). Even with basic colors (not shades as usual), it could tell you a lot about the match, whether or not you did well, or had too many noobs in your team, whether you worked as a team or not etc.
