hello everyone EvilStew here jsut wanted to show off my 6PPC Stalker you should never have 4 ppcs then 2 ER PPCS NEVER!



enjoy! :wub: but it does build a ton of heat!

4 PPC is max in TT at heat threshold. Cool story though.

No, and pretty obviously so. 6 PPCs produce 60 heat, same as the 4 clan ERPPCs on mechs like the masakari.
There's an optional extended heat scale that goes up to 60 I think it was.
Finally you calculate heat level after applying cooling, if you generated 60 heat and had 20 DHS your total heat was only at 20.

I don't think you've ever played TT.
In TT:
Heat is calculated at the end of turn, you start with leftover heat from previous turns, add heat generated, and subtract heat dissipated from your heatsinks, the result is your new heat level in TT.
In TT there are several stock mech designs I'm aware with that can produce in excess of 60 heat per turn. There's even a 95ton jihad clan mech that runs heat neutral while running and firing 4 clan ERPPCs, that's 62 heat generated and dissipated per turn.

As to the OPs build, personally I find the 4 PPC Stalkers much scarier/ more effective since they can actually handle their heat load.
