In the latest patch, the beeping associated with new radar contacts and target acquisition has been turned down to about 50% of its nominal value. Was this intentional, and if so, why wasn't it mentioned in the changelog?

I vote we return to the pre-1.2.226 settings--the beeping associated with new radar contacts and target acquisition are the most important audio cues in the game, other than "critical damage."

I noticed this too. Can't imagine it's intentional.

Have you also submitted this to support? Sounds goofy, but haven't had time to patch and run yet.

pre patch there were some highly annoying moments when you gain and loose track of enemies in quick succession.
it was like "BIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITYBIPPITY". i sometimes couldn't hear my own mechs footsteps.

but now you hardly realize the sound which can be very deadly.

Same problem here.

And AC/5 maybe AC/10 (not sure exactly which it was) are LOUD. I had an enemy Cataphract firing at me at close range and that's all I could hear.

Same for me, I can hardly hear it.
I need that feedback for situational awareness.

I run my FX at 25% volume and thought this had been removed from the game entirely, as I haven't heard it for weeks.
