The red circle is an approximation where you are going to fire if you are firing while you are using jumpjets. The blue circle is an approximation where your crosshair will shake to. This is probably done to prevent aimbots pop tarting so your convergence is never on the crosshair while you shake.

Well done PGI well Done!

I don't really have an issue with the reticle shaking. Just with the camera shaking, trying to spot the brown spot on the brown map with a brown camera filter becomes obnoxious.

They should have done one or the other, not both.

I would not be surprised that they indeed tried just one first off. The Cockpit shake likely but found that unless the Mouse/Reticule movement was also affected, a Player could simply ignore the basic shaking motions, like many do when running overland now and still maintain their hold of the reticule, almost perfectly still, in the center of their view ports, despite running at +/-100kph.

Your post makes no sense whatsoever OP. To suggest PGI introduced a random crosshair shake to combat aimbots is laughable. What about aimbotters that aren't jumping?

I just don't believe the devs played with JJs with a heavy or assault mech on a regular basis. They would have known that the camera shake is excessive if they did. Just trying it out a few times for testing in my opinium is not nearly enough.

Currently all chassis suffer the same amount of shake. A minuscule amount of shake so long as you're not trying to make precision long-range shots.

Not quite sure what you are getting at OP ... you mean they did this so someone cannot stick a piece of blue tack on where the centre reticle is suppose to be and shoot straight despite the shake?

You are reading the tea leaves OP... None of this was done for the sake of aimbots, good lord!
