I would officially like to begin groundwork for the online-version of my mercenary company.

I'll keep this simple: since MWO is still in beta, and doesn't have much in the way of group support I'm going to take on group administration myself... Through email and a Steam group, for applicants who have Steam.

This way, it is easier to keep in touch with prospective group members, announce playing dates/engagements and see who all can join in on the missions we'll plan out, games we wish to help out with and so on and so forth.

The Nordic Fox Mercenary Group (NFMG), also known as 'Company' due to general current deployment strength was formed as a 'gaming mercenary unit' online, modeled after an original unit created for use in the Battletech tabletop universe. Through playing the tabletop, I had worked out how the unit would be structured and engage in combat, and through computer games (Mechwarrior 4 being the best example) worked out general C-bill compensation for given jobs, and came up with an estimation on strength, size and compliment of the unit and logistics.

I don't need all that for MWO, obviously so here I'm just recruiting prospective mercenaries who'd like to be part of a group that aims to feel more real than just a rag-tag bunch of guys blowing up other 'mechs.

I would really like to get people to join up when the game goes full/live, and thus assign ranks, roles, and maybe get logistics in the works (equipment that will be shared to benefit the company).

Getting to work like a real mercenary company in the BT 'verse would go far to win many battles, and strike fear and respect into those who oppose us.
