A Capellan is a backstabber, a Davionist is a big damn hero (or a hillbilly depending on what part of the Suns he hails from). Mariks are always bickering over who's in charge. Comstar is made of religious types. Canopians are sex-crazed maniacs.

An Elsie (Lyran), a Fedrat, and a Capellan are all hiking up a mountain, arguing over who is the most loyal to their Successor State. Upon reaching a ledge, the Elsie screams "For the Archon and the Commonwealth!" and dives off. The Cappellan watches him plunch, yells "Long live the Capellan Confederation!" and shoves the Fedrat off the cliff.

Here's another one from the CBT forums:

The five Successor Lords meet on a train when it develops difficulties. Hanse Davion suggests: "Let us have an earnest dialogue with the crew to find the source of our collective problem." Takashi Kurita leans out of the window and shouts: "If the train is not moving in two minutes, I will have all of the crew executed!" Katrina Steiner declares: "I shall purchase a new train and track so we may continue," which Janos Marik agrees to and offers to sell her the parts needed. Finally, Maximilian Liao bounces up and down on his seat, screaming gleefully: "WE ARE MOVING! WE ARE MOVING!"

I would say the CapCon is less Space China and more Space Communism in general.

Stereotypes are always supposed to be wrong, not right.
