Just a few minutes ago had a match on Forest Colony with SDR-5D with Cap module on it. Could not cap sigma, tried several times to go in and out of resource area but no effect. No enemies were near sigma. Went to epsilon, cap was fine.
Anyone else had similiar experience?

Well, it's not that common. However, it happens a lot more than it should.
Of course, they have yet to do much about it, let alone acknowledge it.
It's not specific to Conquest, though it has more to do with capping and cap sites thinking that they are being held by a defending mech, despite its death and/or removal from the cap site.

I see it roughly once every two weeks, but yeah... It's more common than people realise, it's just that a lot of the time it's irrelevant or just unnoticed. I've lost a few battles specifically to that bug, and it's enormously aggravating when it happens.
I'm pretty sure you're right, though - that the game thinks an enemy mech is still on the cap site as you can only contest it but can not actually capture it.
All that can be done is when it happens - you move onto a cap site and don't actually start capturing it - just leave and go do something else. Once a cap site is bugged, you can't fix it, so moving on and off the square just wastes time.
