Please Give Srms A Cone Fire Path Before Going Straight

Right now SRMs feel really great to use. they are able to hit at 270 and have a unique mechanic from any other weapon in the game.

however
Right now even at 20m, the SRMs spread like crazy.

SRMs should still have a cone, before spreading out to go straight. Maybe allow SRMs to cone to about 150m. before going straight

Wow, you lost all credibility as soon as you typed those words. SRMs are completely useless. Spit balls do more damage (and are more accurate as well). They need to reduce the spread (I agree that it should be a cone), and increase the damage to at least 2 dmg per missile (though since LRMs are at 1.1, then SRMs should be 2.2).

that is your opinion.

i didn't mention anywhere that the feel of the weapon had anything to do with its damage.
with the recent HSR and fire delay removal. they do feel good to use.

Is it not dependent on which mech is firing it initialy, i think the damage on srm needs a buff tbh they feel like petals!

that could work.. but i dont think they can increase damage without increasing it for sSRM also, since the damage for the two are linked.

Also i don't think we should mess with damage values too much, since the SRMs did fine before the patch when it was a cone.

we simply need to make it a cone again. and combine the best of both flight paths.

taking out splash was part of the problem

but i think this would def buff the SRMs.
