For about the past month I've been having this problem where a shot from a direct fire weapon (usually PPC's) clearly misses me on my screen but registers as a hit on my mech and I've had times where I've clearly smoked a guy in the CT and no damage was registered (again, usually PPC's). As you can imagine it gets very annoying when you see a PPC shot go flying by you and hit the mountain behind you but have the critical damage warning pop up on your screen because it some how registered as a CT hit.

I have 10-25 ping every game and I have a good rig so I don't think it's something on my end. I was wondering if anyone else has been noticing this or if anyone has some insight into what's happening here. Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to record every game I play and make a video compilation of these occurrences and submit it to PGI but I wanted to bring this up now in case this subject has already been discussed and I just happened to miss it.

Same problems over here, brother.
My ping ranges from 140 to 190 (Austria is a looooong way away from CDN), my FPS arent that bad either (from 80 to 40).
Just today I hit a Raven running straight away from me with 3 consecutive alpha-strikes with 4 PPC´s ... one should think that should do the RVN in, but hey...only his left leg was slightly damaged for maybe 3-7 dmg worth ... which made me in turn go ...ERRRRMMMM ?

Next occurence:
Standing in the back of a Highlander 515 meters in front of me.
Alpha his back, getting through to Crit-yellow, he stays in place.
Alpha him again in his open rear CT after waiting for a few seconds to be sure he hadnt seen me.
Nothing furthermore happens ...
3rd Alpha from the same position is being shown as hitting him from the front (?) although I made sure to hit his back ...

Dodgy hit detection is very dodgy indeed Oo
