Reading this thread, but it's not very clear on some factors

1.Can 8 man groups be matched up against 8 man groups only, or any combination of lone wolves and groups?

2.Is it possible for a team with any combination of groups (e.g. two 4 man groups) be matched up against a team of inequal grouping (e.g. 6 lone wolves and a 2 man group)?

3.If ELO is active how are you supposed to see what your ELO is?

1) 8-mans only against 8-mans
2) Yes, and seeing the amount of rolls back and forth it's not unusual at all
3) You can't, Elo is secret which will save us from some E-peen comparing, but also makes it easier to hide if Elo is in fact not working well since you can't prove anything as we're not allowed to know our own ratings.

1. Groups of 8 will only play against other groups of 8.
2. Possible, yes, but they try to split the premades up evenly if possible.
3. You're not.

I've never heard there is any effort by matchmaker to try and spread out premades evenly, where have you heard that?

Some throwaway post from a dev I think. I can't remember exactly.
