Hello,

what do you think about a firing delay of something between 0.5 - 1 s for the PPC weapons and maybe the gauss rifle, too (e.g. a charge up time, which starts when using the trigger).
This would make these weapons a lot harder to use in melee against fast targets and while jumping....just a thought.

This could be effective enough, that the JJ-shake could be removed again. The JJ-shake is a cool mechanic but it makes JJ so much less fun to use.

Justify the change ... then we can discuss it.

Oh wait ... you can't justify it. But ... but ... but when I get hit with the BIGGEST most DEADLY weapons in the game it really really hurts. Well ... DUH. That's why they are the BIGGEST most DEADLY weapons in the game, and that is why they weigh what they do, and take up the space they do, and have the quirks they have.

Nobody wants a firing delay on any weapon ... even something like LRM's that have to wait for the doors to open, people hate that and the dev's are putting in a toggle so you can just keep them open all the time and not have to remember ... every ... single ... match ... to ... hit ... the ... button ... to ... open ... the ... doors.

Try justifying why something needs a nerf before actually suggesting a nerf. Especially when you try to say this needs a nerf so that JJ's can be put back the way they were. I think you missed the entire reason why JJ's were nerfed, and it had nothing to do with boating ... at all.

Artificial firing delays, charge-up timers, and the like are toxic to game play.

Better to make it dangerous for people to overheat themselves excessively.
