OK i personally think that they need to fix the founders mech skins as well as the ability to sell the ones you dont want to use.. i would like to have more customization of my founders mechs like camo and such these concrete patterns suck. i want to add color other then the blue and whit to the mech. and a different pattern it makes those mechs targets more so then others i have found. dunno why but it is that way as a mech jockey i want to be able to choose the ability of color change or camo patterns. not be stuck with bs color and skins. what you might think is cool devs does not necissarily mean it is cool to us. let us choose our abilities. what do the rest of you think..

I just want to be able to change the colors, although for others that paid for them I can understand they might never use one of them, and would like to sell them for the c-bill price. Just a thought, but I wanted them to take away the scrappy rough look and transform it into a pattern, that way I can change the colors underneath and leave the rough, older feel.
I know some people don't enjoy looking so beat up, but I like it. If we ever get the chance to choose different arms and leg actuators, etc. (cosmetic mech changes) I would be all over a frankenstein looking Founder's mech. I can't wait as it is to change the colors on them, and hope they resolve this reasonably soon, because I think the paints could do with a bit of changes. Not everybody likes the color blue.

I have no problem with the camo. The "worn" look is ok with me, but I would like the same level of color customization that a Hero mech recieves.
Somone else on here linked to a tweet from somone at PGI saying that they might implement color changes on Founder's mechs, but untill I see a patch note reffering to such, I wouldn't treat that as anything.
As for selling them, I suppose, but I can understand why they might not do that.

I might sell the jenner, but if you're going to level up one of the chassis types, why not get a 30% c-bill boost?
I think the point of the founders paint if to be more noticeable when playing, to stand out more when the game is 1-2 years old. Hence the rough look. But with the implementation of hero mechs, it would be interesting to see how many founders remain after a year.

I just want a top had and monocle for mine. Or just a monocle, if the former is too much trouble.

Founders paint jobs are still on the table as far as we know. Obviously people have been on about it from the very beginning, and many of us even dared to dream that it would come hand in hand with Hero mech repainting. But to PGI's credit they have continued to say that it is being worked on and eventually we will be able to repaint our Founder mechs in a similar manner to the Heroes.
As eager as I am to repaint my beloved C1(f) a glorious green or sinister cyan, I am quite happy to wait a while longer. It would not take that much work to implement the painting system for Founder mechs, in the grand scheme of things, but we have to remember that how ever much work it is, it's labor not focused on the future of the game. Founder mechs bring PGI exactly £0.00 at this point, and fixing the camo must, and should, be considered a very low priority.
That being said, when the game goes live there are likely to be several Founderish packages available at the same time, which may well come with unique variants and painjobs of their own. If who ever is responsible for skinning these assets is really awesome at his job, maybe he could sneak in a couple of Founder mechs at the same time? A toast to you, mysterious developer! Whoever you are...
