I would agree that Artemis is better served when used on larger launchers, but I'd also like to point out that Artemis lowers Lock-On times for all Lock-based missiles, including Streaks. It's an exploit to be sure, but it's still the case.

And to address your question regarding HSR and hits registering - there's still quite a bit of work to be done before HSR works properly, and not just with SRMs. I've noticed shots that I've aimed directly at a shutdown 'Mech's center torso that completely fail to register. I'm sure they're working on it, but it IS a problem.

As to you having noticed this issue in the Training Grounds - that's surprising, because TG launches exist completely on the client-side, meaning HSR doesn't play any role at all. You should most certainly take video of that happening, if you can. If you don't have video-recording software, I recommend using MSI Afterburner - it's completely free and a really useful program.

exactly what happens to me, and iv also noticed i sometimes hit if i aim slightly behind a mech instead of in front of it

ill look into using msi afterburner, and no its not happening because im slightly out of range
