Myself and several friends have noticed this issue since last patch. This issue occurs when you use the auto run feature (Default bound to zero on numpad) in conjunction with throttle decay. The issue is intermittent and happens when you open the map (B button), look at the game status (Tab button), or open chat while auto run is engaged.
I use keyboard and mouse set up. I have seen it both my desktop and my laptop.
Please fix, it is very annoying and undermines our ability to chat and manage the battlefield without coming to a stop while doing so...

"0" is not "auto-run". It's 100% throttle.
Turn off "Throttle-decay" and "Arm-Lock", and your life will improve significantly.

Anyway; OP I have seen the same thing but its only happens intermittently for me, most of the time I can set it at 0 and leave it but occasionally when I open the map as you say the throttle decay kicks in. I'm fairly sure I was seeing it before the patch as well.

I stand corrected... 100% throttle. 100% throttle goes to 0% throttle when I open the map or chat.
The purpose of this thread is to provide feedback about this patch. Your piloting advice seems irrelevant to the topic.
