Just a heads up Gents,

The System profiler isn't doing an amazing job at detecting anything other than my primary vcard etc. Unfortunately this now means that my primary Vram is 1MB (Tried altering it to 1 Gb, Yes I know now that I should have gone with the accurate MB measurement...live and learn)

I don't suppose that such a low Vram score will be very...ah...conducive to me getting in the Beta. And I seem to be unable to change the entry once it has been made. Any suggestions on corrective action?

The system profiler also told me I only have 4 gigs of RAM, not 6... then again maybe 1 of em didn't get seated properly after the last clean... ruh roh. Oh and it didn't detect my second, much larger hard drive.

Gauss are you running a 32bit system? If yes then you could have 12 gigs of ram and the system would still only use 4gig, as thats all a 32bit system is capable of.

Tho i think there are some issues with the system profiler.

Aparently my videocard is a logmein video card, with 4gigs of ram (logmein is a remote access program, it installs its own video driver for whatever reason, and the system profiler picked that rather than the actual card)

Everything else seemed to work ok tho!

Nope, it's a 64-bit platform alright. I'm not too concerned about it though. The profiler got the gist of it.

I'm a little surprised that they didn't use the built-in direct x diagnostic. I'm sure they have a reason for it, but still surprising.

The profiler detected my motherboard's integrated nvidia 9600, and ignored the GTX 260 that I use as my primary card. I leave the 9600 enabled, incase my system determines it would help for things like Physx calculations. I manually edited the text from the profiler to reflect both the primary card and its memory, though may not have done that in the exact format that the profiler would have done, if it had identified the 260.

I'd like to recommend the developers tweak their profile gathering software, to have more accurate information when looking into any bugs the beta reveals. We all want this to be the best game it can be. Thanks!
