The last 3 wins I had to pull off in conquest yesterday were especially hilarious. The matches were crowded with players which had almost no experience playing conquest (because they only played assault before the challenge). Because of that they all started to walk in a nice lemming train towards the enemy spawn "assault style" while ignoring the capture zones. My reaction: "Is someone actually going to bother with the caps?". I promptly received the following message: "Whats a cap?"...
... xD

That's why for the last 3 Conquest wins I needed, I ran a fast Cent, so I could cap as needed. I was able to get my last 3 wins inside of 4 games.

To all the people saying this challenge was too easy:

I had SO many matches where I would do between 500-700 damage and get 3 kills just to have the other 7 people on my team do less than 150 damage each, and the 3 people I killed be the only kills in the match our team got. This makes winning REALLY hard.

Also I got this mostly done on a day I had off. I only had the day off because I was working a temp job and needed the day to do stuff fir the full time permanent job that I just got. So trying to ensure I get enough sleep to function in the morning also made this harder, Then there was the damn hockey game that decided triple overtime would be cool and left me exhausted the next day.

I understand you felt this was easy. Now if you could actually see the number of people who failed it or the stupid sacrifices they took just to get a damn necklace (like the ***** typing this now) you might change your opinion.

Seriously. This challenge is actually easier than the previous challenge. The time it takes to complete this challenge can be done in less than half a day. If you give yourself about 3-8 hours of hardcore gameplay(1-2 hours a day with given time)to play each modes and keep track of your wins for both of them, you will be able to beat this challenge in "NO time". I had 8 hours left to get the challenge done before it ended and when I did it, I had roughly 4-5 hours to spare.

Lets see what challenges we went through so far:
1: Win 25 matches

2: Win 10 matches in both Assault "AND" Conquest (totals up to winning 20 matches)

Comon PGI make something harder next time. I got some good ones right here.

Next Challenge should be...
- Win 30 matches
- Accumulate a total of 30 "solo" kills
- have a wining streak of 5 matches or more(Losing after your 5 winning streak does not reset your winning streak progress)

This challenge is pretty difficult all together not only you have to have winning streaks, but your mech must also be capable of dealing a killing blow to your opponents.

Heres another one I thought of.

-Obtain 7 headshot kills

This is easier said than done. Most mechs if not all of them have a very small hitbox for the head parts of the mech making it extremely difficult to destroy. To figure out how to find out if you headshot your opponent a unique message will appear to all player indicating that the player performed a headshot on another player.

XPhantasmaX, I honestly think you fail to understand the purpose of these challenges. PGI probably couldn't give less of a **** about what you think is hard enough for a reward, what they are trying to do is to get people to feel excited to play more, if the players don't think that they can complete the challenge in time then it's all wasted effort.

The fact it's easy for anyone to complete is the entire point!

Lost 17 matches in stupid Conquest just to get 10 wins. Turns out the necklace was just a distracting-as-hell piece of junk!

Never should have participated.

Well, just found out about this. Would love an email about events that are active or coming up. I probably could have found the time after work to get in that many games.

New weekend challenge.

1. Obtain 30 kills using only Trial Mechs.
2. Dealt a total of 3500 damage using only Trial Mechs.

Why? Because we are going to tweak Single Heatsink.

well it was pretty easy overall. 20 wins means approx. 40 matches, average match time is about 5-6 minutes so that's 4 hours over 3 days, not a stretch of pugging and a team could knock it out in almost half the time with the level of disorganization vs cap rushes.

this was a tough challenge Pug games are just a hit and miss roll of the dice chance you may win a match. I played 10 consecutive matches in assault, and I only won 1 match, which is how my challenge started. that alone was a couple of lost hours, and had to budget my gaming time...
