There needs to be an Azure Hydra Hero Centurion. a CN9-A modified with an experimental structure to afford it the ability to sport 5 more tons. I.E the Centurion from Mech Commander.

Make this happen PGI. :P

You already have the Wang, some mechs like my beloved atlas don't have a hero yet so you can't really complain.

Wrong all Founders mechs count in the hero mech pool. So you will be waiting a very very very very very long time to see a hero atlas.

I recall the developers saying that non-founders Mech chassis lines will likely get their Heroes first, but that can't just go on ad infinitum... We need a Raven, Spider, Treb... the Blackjack is brand-spanking new... They *might* get Hero Mechs from the founder's line out this year, but I don't know. Mods do not have crystal balls...

...there are the Seeing Stones, but since one of them is unaccounted-for, and, figuring the fact that every time I use one I get the urge to build an army of Hot Dogs and Pepsi, there's a good chance it's fallen into the Enemy's clutches.

Possibly some time later on in development of MWO. I imagine PGI wants at least 1 Hero Mech for each Mech, and later will add more basic variants + more Hero Mechs. I wouldn't expect it anytime soon though.

The CN10-B is the 55 ton variant: http://goodsects.got...te/pdf/3469.pdf

To be fair, the Atlas has the Founder's. If you say "but it's the same variant" I will come back and say that it's not about hugely different variants. There are 4 different Atlases already, more than several other mechs have. Also, the YLW is basically paying money to take away 2 missile hardpoints, reduce the max engine size, and free up a single crit slot. And a custom paint job, but the Founder's have that too.

Thank you very much sir. Yes, that is the variant I want badly. I would kill to have THAT Centurion.

I keep hearing this and yet nobody so far have provided a source for this.

And it sounds kind of weird especially as a (F) mech and a hero mech really only share the fact that you can not buy them for CBills and that they have a C-Bill boost. The (F) mechs lack the hardpoint re-config that is a staple of the hero mech and the individual mech does not really have a one of a kind paintjob (it is sort of shared between 4 mechs). Now that being said i think we will have to wait a fair while for a hero Cat and Jenner... (unless the Sarah materialize) as they are very difficult to make versions of that have a new hardpoint layout without making them OP. The Atlas could really do with a nice hero mech but i have a hard time seeing a HBK hero that actually bring something good to the table unless it is based on the -4SP

The Founder's mechs and Hero mechs can't really be considered the same thing. The Hero mechs recieve WAY more consideration from PGI than the Founder's mechs do. (probably understandably so).

As for a Hunch hero....Yea I don't know. I wouldn't mind seeing a dual ballistic variant...maybe 2 AC20s...:( Maybe eventually :)

Ok, in all seriousness, maybe a Hunch with jump jets and ECM

The 2 ac20 hunchback is the clan variant:

http://www.sarna.net...i/Hunchback_IIC

Its got a grand total of 3 tons of armour which means it dies faster than a ac40 jagerbomb, and in MWO would not work as you'd get 1 shot very easily.

6 tons, actually. And they are ultra AC/20s. So two 40 damage pinpoints within moments of each other.

Oh, and it has jump jets.

Hey, that's cool.

Let us know when Founder's mechs are getting the same improved max engine size that all the other hero mechs get.

A Hunchback Piloted by an Esmerelda, would give the art department something juicy to work with at least

I know, I was kidding. I figured the way I typed it out and the smiley might have given that away.

Hunchback IIC is a deathtrap anyway acording to lore (if you want to try and support the 2 AC20s).

There is nothing different about the founders chassis. They are copies of the prime variants with different paint schemes and bonuses. At best, you could call them champions.

Okay to the haters this is from Ask the devs 28. Looks like someday but not very soon. When I have time I will dig up the other one stating they were counted in the hero pool to start with.
Q: Will we see Hero Mechs for the Founder Mechs Jenner, Hunchback, Catapult and Atlas? [MustrumRidcully]
A: Eventually. For now we’re focusing on creating a nice variety of Hero mechs for players to choose from. [Bryan]
