Okay, so I've had this lingering problem where occasionally I get a stray cursor that appears during gameplay. It seems to crop up most commonly (perhaps exclusively) when the game doesn't have focus when a game launches due to random surfing on my other monitor. Normally, while distracting, this wouldn't be a particular problem. The real problem is that when the game gets in this state, the cursor will still be active on my desktop. This means that any mouse click that happens while this stray cursor happens to be hovering outside the boundaries of the game window will suddenly give the desktop focus and minimize the game and/or cause it to freeze.
I should point out that I doubt this is a problem for single-monitor setups. In my particular case, I'm running in fullscreen mode. I'd try another video mode, but I cannot stand the windowed border in the other modes.

I don't have my gaming system in front of me right now to accurately double-check, but doesn't the "Windowed-fullscreen mode" give you a borderless window? That's how I play the game right now - I run a multi-monitor setup as well and use windowed mode to easily multitask without the constant resolution-flipping.

I am not sure if the bug that used to happen if you alt tabbed out on a signle monitor is still around, but this may be related. Have you also submitted a support ticket describing the situation?
Good luck with resolution.

Hmmm...well, in past when I tried windowed-fullscreen, it basically looked the same as windowed. I don't know if that has changed, but I do intend to test to see if the problem persists across different modes.

Not just yet. I'm testing to see if I can offer specifics. I wanted to post here in case there might be some additional information that might be gathered from the community and just to put it on their radar. I'm intending to spend some time trying to isolate the specifics this weekend.
