I don't know how hard it would be to do it for our already busy dev team , but maybe the team at charge of the website could do some help on It.
The reason for this suggestion/request is to allow for third party online leagues to get an easy way of obtaining match data for its participants.
Now, when you are on a online league (i'm not in one, but I supose this is how it works) the team leader has to take care to note the teams participants, count death/kills for each side, make an screenshot, take note of the map...
With some kind of webservice / POST interface, an online league could just grab all this info (even who killed who) with just the ID number of the match given by both the teams leaders (and a screenshot just to be sure not playing with numbers to hide a bad outcome)
I'm pretty sure almost all data is stored since the introduction of ELO system (they said they could recalculate our ELOs, so these numbers are somewhere)
they already have some kind of interface, as they grab our STATS from the same source to show them in the web profile.. so...
It should be no-brainer
(I'm a bad programmer... but even myself could do a quick-dirty webservice to show these stats)
hell, even if no online league... if I drop with my friends, we can get these data easily in a spreadsheet and micro-manage our own home-league

[Suggestion] Make Each Match Have A Public Id Number And Make The Ending Stats Publicly Availabe

I hate to do this, but I'm going to vote no.
Not because it's a bad idea, but because there is so much raw data in what you're suggesting that it would probably take months just to get an action plan on how to do this.
And honestly, PGI already has a heaping plate of stuff to do first.

^I have toi agree 100%, though I do also see the potential for e-peen-misuse of such a feature, as well.... but most important is the game needs to be running stably enough to viably support competition. For ex. the recent RHOD finals RCJF vs RCW were an ordeal to start, and that`s putting it mildly.
Admittedly there has been significant hardening since then, but the basic point remains the same. When the engine runs smoothly overall and is evenly balanced, then you can start bolting other features on like publilc stats portals and CW. Which I think is exactly the way they`re doing it, the basic framework is there and is close to where it needs to be in many aspects, and just a tweak or patch, maybe 2, away from being there with others. By which time CW is promised to start rolling out....

Why should there even be third party leagues?

Your vote and the reason to vote "no" is apreciated.
but i don't think that a simple webservice that gives the damage and outcome of the battle can be considered as too dificult to plan and develop.
I can imagine the kind of database design they have to be able to store this data.. and maybe we are talking just 4-5 tables, and this data can be extracted with just a query to the database...
But I partly agree with you that we have more pressing issues right now.

Pro tournaments (read: free advertising for the game), of course. Many succesful games have some sort of league (or multiple, even) beyond what the developer/publisher does. Look at Starcraft, for example.

If they wont make ELO public, they will say no to this for the same reason. And i think they should. Its unnecessary. 3rd party leagues are doing fine without it, every one takes a screen shot and sends it in. Share the story over some beer, is what it is.

I voted Yes, even though to implement everything - it would take unreasonable amount of time.
Yet it would be nice to see at least some basic info available online, such as match participants and how well you did. If you want, you can share that with public. Similar to how screenshots work now, but more professional.
