Show me your Mechwarrior: Dark Age armies!

Here's my situation: I want to start playing Classic Battletech, but there is no way to get these miniatures to South Africa without it costing an amount I'm simply not willing to spend. However, the now discontinued Mechwarrior: Dark Age was here for a small amount of time, but not played much, and there are a few large lots of miniatures lying around, looking for a new owner. So, I thought I'd end up adapting and using these with the miniature rules.
The only thing that worries me is the looks. Some of the mechs that I have seen are very cool (Mad Cat III, Warhammer IIC, Solitude Atlas, etc), but there are also a couple with some that look preposterous, covered in spikes etc, and I'm really not a fan of the agrimechs and the like.
So, I thought it would be fun if any guys here would post their MWDA/AOD miniatures, and I'd get an idea of the general look of the mechs that people play with, and also the aesthetics of the combined arms!

W00t?!
You serious???
[edit] ps. Mad Cat Mk. II happens not to be the dark age Mech - it was introduced before it. MadCat Mk. III is the one you probably mean by talking about Dark Age mech.

Yeah. People hate it, but I need minis, and I refuse to bankrupt myself to get the proper CBT ones into South Africa. I've also been converting 40k miniatures for years, so I'm definitely going to modify the uglier mechs to look more canon.

I think you'll find I did refer to the Mad Cat III

I actually have the same problem here in Ausland. I really want to get into the TT but the costs of importing are just way too high =(

Edit:
It was a fun little quick game but nothing compared to the TT.

It's mental right?! and the R/$ exchange rate doesn't help.

Don't worry, all the spikes will be chopped off. I want to end up with a few presentable 3050 era armies.

Don't suppose you feel like sending an aid package to a poor African?

Yes, they butchered the franchise while they had it. Yes, the ruleset got progressively worse. Yes, some of the models were... questionable.
But it was very accessible as a pick up and play game. It was the most popular P&P game at the club since folk brought their stuff, and everyone shared their models to make up their force for the night. No rules-lawyers or arguing when they were playing it. And it opened their eyes to other games that weren't Warhammer FB/40k that when I brought along proper Battletech one club night, the older ones were eager to check it out (and gang up on my mechs).
I was an MWDA envoy doing tournaments for my local small gaming club, I've still got most of my models and a lot of LE's scattered somewhere. If I can dig them out and get them all together, I'd be happy to show 'em!
Be advised though if you are planning on using CBT rules with MWDA models, you may run into scale issues, the MWDA models were never consistent with scale.
You can also go to http://www.warrenbor...nitSection.html to see a lot of the models.

Thanks! That site is great, it seems tough to find a nice list of MWDA stuff. I've been reading up about scale issues etc, I think I'll be ok

2. Warrenborn is/was an awesome resource for clickywarrior.
3. Best mods I have seen for clickywarrior minis is to remove the base and attach them to hexagonal cardboard bases.

If you go to the CBT forums, in the miniatures area there is a guy name Spaceman Spiff who does some outrageous conversions of the clix minis for his CBT games.

BTW... I'm not only into BT:TT miniature painting/modding, but also in terrain modeling. It's really fun!
